Oh Chute!

This Christmas hoilday spend a night of fun with your friends and family at our snowless tubing lanes, the Chutes. Try out all four of our 225ft lanes, reaching speeds of about 15 mph. You can do singles, doubles and even trains! When your tubing time is up, grab some popcorn, hot cocoa, or a s’mores kit from the camp store, and enjoy your snack by the campfire. Challenge your friends to some 3 on 3 basketball or a game of sand volleyball to finish out your night. There’s something for everyone at the Chutes!

Opening on Black Friday, the Chutes are our fundraiser to support our non-profit through the winter months.  Each session holds approximately 50 people, and guests get 45 minutes of tubing time. All of the thrills and chills of winter snow tubing can be found locally just mins from Charlotte near Crowders Mountain. The Chutes create lifelong memories, and are perfect for your entire family or group!

Crowders Camps Chutes is a fundraiser activity; so, unfortunately tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be rescheduled if we are notified in writing at least 48 hours in advance, subject to availability. You can request a rescheduled ticket by emailing chutes@crowderscamps.com

Crowders Camps Chutes reserves the rights to cancel the scheduled event due to weather or other situations out of our control. Ticket holders will be notified of any cancellations via email. Whenever possible, rescheduling options will be provided.

We recommend this activity for ages 5 and up. Children under the age of 5 may participate at the discretion of their parent/guardian. Younger children should share a tube with a parent.

Groups of 25 or more can purchase tickets at a discounted rate ($15 per person).

Host your party at the chutes! You can book a private party room for before or after your Chutes session, or even book a private Chutes session for just your group! Email chutes@crowderscamps.com to inquire and learn more.

We recommend dressing warmly and in layers. The Chutes are snowless tubing, so water-resistant clothing is not necessary. Please wear closed-toe shoes with good tread. The Chutes are an outdoor only event - other than bathrooms, indoor facilities are not available. Please dress warmly enough to be outdoors for the duration of your visit.

Snacks and drinks are available at the camp store; please, no outside food or drinks (except water) unless you have booked a private party. Please help us maintain a family friendly atmosphere - no alcohol, smoking, vaping, offensive clothing, or offensive language. Please, no pets.

Please contact us at (704) 915-1096 or at chutes@crowderscamps.com with any questions. During Chutes hours, our staff may be away from the office phones.
